About our Camps
STEM
The STEM portion of our camps will vary quite a bit in theme and subject matter, but they will all have a similar goal.
Our camps will provide a safe and supportive atmosphere where we encourage kids to build as much as they can on their own, make mistakes and learn from those mistakes. I always start my camps with a lesson on how when something fails it isn't necessarily a bad thing but a learning opportunity.
Minecraft
What is Minecraft?
Minecraft is an extremely popular sandbox survival and crafting game. If you have never played Minecraft, I think virtual Lego is the best comparison. Imagine having an entire world of infinite Lego that you could easily place, walk around and explore.
Why Minecraft?
We use Minecraft EDU which is a special educational version of Minecraft that has a couple extra features that help us run a smoother camp experience
